Overview: 

The course covers the nature of the writing process and the theories of writing. Students will be exposed to the various forms of writing and the principles of good writing. The course covers the writing process, literacy and practice. In particular, it focuses on the approaches and techniques of teaching writing in the ESL classroom. Students are expected to be able to incorporate knowledge gained into the teaching of writing in the ESL classroom through macro and micro teaching practice.
